  • Manually operated control
  • Simpler and less expensive than FluxMaster V
  • Three-position toggle switch
  • Toggle right provides DC current for energizing chuck
  • Variable control knob setting determines DC output
  • Toggle center turns off electric current to chuck
  • Toggle left reverses current to release workpiece
  • Includes 6-foot, 3-wire AC cord and plug, and 6-foot DC power cord
  • For some applications the choice of control may be a simple, less expensive, manually operated FluxMaster IV unit with a three-position toggle switch used for controlling the chuck.

Moving the toggle switch to the right provides DC current for energizing the chuck. The setting of the variable control knob will determine the DC output to the chuck.

With the switch in the center "off" position electric current will no longer be delivered to the chuck. Although the electric current is interrupted, work pieces may remain magnetically attracted to the chuck due to residual magnetism. Momentarily holding the switch to the left (in the "release" position) reverses the current flowing to the chuck to release the workpiece.
